A shallow ditch was recorded during evaluation trial trenching carried out by John Moore Heritage Services in September 2002. The ditch was 1.3m wide, 0.25m deep and visible for a length of 1.6m and is probably a post-medieval boundary ditch. The ditch fill contained a single sherd of Iron Age pottery, probably residual and a fragment of post-medieval glass. A single residual medieval sherd was found in topsoil (B1).
