Description

St Mary's School was built in 1845 as a National School and had places for 360 children (B2,B5).
Designed by F Gotto of Tring, with later additions. The 'Tudorish' Infants School by Devey was added in 1870 (B3-4).
Schools shown on 25-inch OS maps of 1881, 1889 and 1925 and on 6-inch OS map of 1950 (B6).
School buildings disused from ?September 2000 and demolished ?January 2002. NGR to school buildings.
