Description

A number of probable prehistoric features were recorded in trenches 1 and 2 during evaluation trial trenching carried out by HAT in February 2001. 3 intercutting features, a ditch, pit and possible posthole were identified as prehistoric in date. A possibly clay-lined small pit or posthole and 2 ditches, with possible traces of recutting, were undated but probably of prehistoric date (B2).
