Description
14 sherds (143g) of pottery found during fieldwalking. Medieval pottery was confined to the NW part of the field, where ridge and furrow survived into the 1940s, suggesting that only the NW part of the field was cultivated in the medieval period, the rest of the field was probably woodland well into the post-medieval period (B1). NGR to NW part of field.
