Description

A mission hut at the end of the canal was set up by Rev. Pennefather (vicar of Walton church from 1843-1853) to mission to the boatpeople (B1). Photograph of the boatman's chapel c.1920 (B2). Exact location unknown. NGR to canal basin wharf.
