Description

A number of pits containing Bronze Age pottery were discovered during excavation. 2 pits contained pottery of 'Bucket Urn' type. In addition Bronze Age assemblages were identified from dumped fills of irregular 'scooped' features, possibly from limestone quarrying? (B12).
