Description

Field NE of Castle Fields ploughed in about 1986. Dave Shelley reports 'tons of building tile' including flue tiles with roller stamp decoration and a 'fair scatter of pottery'. He also reports 3rd to 4th century Roman coins found whilst metal detecting (B2).
