Description

Evaluation trial trenching by Oxford Archaeology in March 2002 revealed 4 boundary ditches, interpreted as representing land divisions at the rear of properties fronting The Green. 1 of the ditches (109) contained early medieval pottery, the other 3 ditches are undated. 2 pits, probably of late post-medieval or recent date were also recorded (B1).
