7 SKELETONS FOUND ON LOWERING CROWN OF HILL BETWEEN VICARAGE GARDEN & WINDMILL, SOME LYING ON SIDES, OTHERS ON BACKS. 1 IN SEMI-CIRCULAR GRAVE WITH LARGE STONES OVER BODY. PROBABLY CEMETERY FOR AT LEAST 300-400 YEARS (B1).
POSSIBLE SAXON INHUMATION CEMETERY (B6).
COINS SUGGEST 300-400AD BUT PROBABLY C9-10AD (B3).
