Description

Find of single flint gritted late BA to early IA pottery sherd from newly dug western road ditch beside Cheddington to Mentmore road. Sherd found in spoil heap and no features seen in whole length of ditch although only briefly checked. Geology said to be chalky clay along much of length (B1).
