Description

Test pit (5) within the smaller barn at Bury Farm found 2 gullies, interpreted as possible cart rut and a drainage gully. Also beam slot found under wall of present barn on the corner - may relate to construction of a wall from earlier building phase. Beam slot overlay the 2 gullies. 2 further test pits (4 & 6) were negative (B6).
