Description

Possible barrow in Pollards Wood. Subsatantial mound with slightly flattened, partly dished top. Mound about 20m in diameter with ditch around c.3m wide 0.5m deep but deeper in parts, possibly absent /infilled on N side. In Scots pine plantation. Possibly a mill mound in view of possible ditch break (?causeway) (B1).
Mound visible on LiDAR survey; NGR corrected.
