Description

Danesfield House and grounds requisitioned during WWII by the RAF and used by them ever since. The RAF constructed a series of buildings on the site, generally of a light construction, also 2 football pitches in the former 'strawberry field' area (B9).
Site now abandoned by RAF and incorporated into adjoining SAS Institute.
