Description

CMAG fieldwalk in advance of proposed Aston Clinton bypass. Field only part walked (see location plan filed for details). Finds: 4 flint flakes; 3 IA/RB sherds; 4 Med sherds and 1 stamped clay pipe foot. Notable absence of medieval material in view of proximity to adjacent medieval moated manor and fishponds (B1).
