Description

Metal detecting finds. Silver coin ?penny of Athelstan; copper alloy late Saxon strap end L. 28mm W. 9mm. Flat back. Split end with 2 intact dome-headed rivets through, face decorated. Simple relief animal snout at terminal (full description filed) (B2).
