Description
Paddock to W of Alwyn Lawn initial find 1970 RB dark greyware rim sherd in sewage trench near hedge with Vicarage & near road by Mrs M S Good (B1-2).
T Clark metal detector finds 1993 4 C4 coins & IA (Belgic) and RB pottery (see :02:000) also possible pit/ditch (B3).
Further T Clark finds Roman coins; misc. RB sherds (?C1-2); London ware bowl & C also head of Langton Down brooch (B4).
Pottery finds contrast with C4 coins from field to E. Tom Clark update, notes remains of pond (date unknown) in western corner of paddock (B5)
