Description

Undated pit from excavation during Steppingley - Aylesbury pipeline (B1).
This pit was only seen in section. It was 0.8m across and 0.7m deep with fairly straight sides and a flattish, slightly undulating base. No artefacts were recovered from its fill. It could even be a ditch terminus (B2).
