Whaddon Chase map of 1844 shows a triangular pond with adjacent trench-shaped pools, located between 'Young Wood Pond Closes' and 'Old Wood Pond Coppice' (B1).
Also shown on Bryant map of 1825 (B2).
Possibly constructed as fishponds?
