Description

Huntsmoor Park has medieval origins. The house is recorded as 15th century. The park is shown on Jeffrey's map of 1776. Early maps show that formal planting is evident from around the end of the 19th century. The house was destroyed some time during the 20th century. APs show the parkland to be fragmented though not built over except in the south where there have been gravel pits dug. The formal gardens have gone (B6).
