Description

House constructed in 1833; the second edition 6" OS map shows house in the centre of a small block of parkland with woodland. Small ponds in woodland to west of a house (gamekeeper's?), formal gardens and walled kitchen gardens. APs show the house to have been expanded and turned into a research laboratory, formal gardens now destroyed but parkland has survived remarkably well (B2).
