Description

The first edition 6-inch OS map shows the house with a wooded garden, formal garden, a park and a gate lodge. Towards the river goes an avenue, possible leftovers from a former formal layout? APs show an extention of formal gardens around the house and a few trees missing towards the south of the parkland otherwise fairly intact (B2).
