Description

The 1926 third edition 6" OS map shows the lodge in its grounds with a group of four garden compartments. One of them is wooded and the rest seem to be lawn. It is unclear as to how far the boundaries of the Lodge go. It is possible that they could include some formal terraces to the south east and also some ponds to the west, further research would be needed. Today, the site is a school and most of the gardens have been destroyed by educational buildings. Tiny amount of lawn with trees left (B1).
