Description

The Priory was constructed in 1824 but has been recently rebuilt. The first edition 6" OS map shows parkland to the south of the house with wooded boundaries and tree clumps. The drive has lodges at each entrance and to the north of the house there is a walled kitchen (?) garden. Modern AP's show development of parkland to the north, parkland to the south seems pretty much unchanged. One of the lodges has been lost though (B2).
