Description

The Abbey House is described as being built in 1850 on the site of a 13th century abbey. It is approached by a tree lined avenue drive to a floral roundabout at the entrance, and possessing a 2 acre garden featuring a kitchen garden with fruit cage, lawn, flower borders and mature trees. A tudor dove house also survives. Recent AP's show everything to be reasonably intact. There are a few extra buildings associated with the abbey and possible formal layout next the buildings. (B1)
