Description

Designed by Burgess, Holden and Watson. Described as 'No garden of ordinary sort with grasswalks, borders etc. Instead, across the south front of the house is a square paved terrace and in front of this is a beautiful sweep of lawn with young birch trees forming a graceful enclosure to it.' Also includes a little maids garden under the kitchen window and a country-type kitchen garden. Exact location unknown. (B1)
