Description

The early 19th century parkland has now been completely destroyed. The grounds included Amersham Common in 1817. This parkland can be seen on the 1900 OS map when it was at its greatest extent. Surviving through most of the 20th century, building development slowly encroached the grounds until Park Place was finally demolished in the 1980s. The grounds survived as school playing fields (B1).
The school was closed in the 1990s and the land has now been completely developed (B2).
