INTERESTINGLY SEVERAL OF THE 'BUMPS' IN THE E FIELD ESPECIALLY AT C. SP79351265 SEEM TO CONTAIN 'MUCH BRICK' SO IT IS TEMPTING TO SUGGEST THAT THE CLAY HERE WAS QUARRIED FOR BRICKS WHICH WERE MADE ON THE SPOT, PERHAPS FOR HARTWELL HOUSE & OTHER HOUSES IN THE AREA(B2).
