Description

BUILDING RECORDING AND ANALYSIS REVEALS EVIDENCE FOR A TIMBER-FRAMED HALL HOUSE (POSSIBLY DEMOLISHED IN C18?) WITH SURVIVING BUILDING FORMING A ?LATER CROSS WING, POSSIBLY DATING FROM THE MID C16. PAINTED WALL PANELS SURVIVE, OF C16/C17 DATE. POSSIBLE EVIDENCE FOR A SMOKE BAY OR WICKER CHIMNEY? (B2).
