Description

BUILDING RECORDING IN JULY-AUGUST 1997 REVEALED THAT THE HOUSE INCLUDES TIMBER FRAME OF 3 BAYS, PROBABLY OF MID-C15. REFRONTED IN BRICK IN MID TO LATE C19, WHEN EAVES ON S RAISED & EXTRA BAY ADDED TO W END. REMAINS OF EARLY HOUSE INCLUDE AT LEAST 2 BAYS OF HALL; CHIMNEY & FLOORS INSERTED IN ?EARLY C17 (B2).
