58 ROMAN COINS, ALMOST ALL C3-C4 & HEAD OF CU ALLOY PIN WITH SPIRAL HEAD, COLLECTED BY BRIAN SMITH & FRIEND. AREA DESCRIBED COINCIDES ALMOST EXACTLY WITH COURSE OF AKEMAN STREET. NO FINDS HERE PREVIOUSLY EXCEPT RB SHERDS (00:000): INTERESTING AS FINDS SUGGEST LINEAR SETTLEMENT ALONG ROAD (B2).
