Description

ON E SIDE OF HIGH STREET A GROUP OF HOUSE PLATFORMS CENTRED AT SP7204 1688. ON W SIDE HOUSE PLATFORMS ARE MOST OBVIOUS AT THE CHURCH END (B1).
Trial trench evaluation through earthwork mound (field south of No. 2-8 Lower Green) identified no archaeological features. Suggested that earthwork is former dew pond (B4).
