C5 COPPER ALLOY SUPPORTING ARM BROOCH FOUND BY TOM CLARK WHILST METAL DETECTING & REPORTED TO BCM. COMPLETE WITH SPRING, CATCH PLATE & IRON PIN BAR. EXPANDED HEAD HAS 4 PROTRUDING SPIKES OF ?UNUSUAL FORM. DECORATED WITH TRANSVERSE GROOVES ON HEAD & FOOT CUT WITH ?FILE SUBSEQUENT TO CASTING (B1).
