FOUND BY TOM CLARKE ON EAST EGDE OF OLD ?CHALK PIT. AT 7-10CM DEEP, 30-45CM FROM EGDE OF PIT, PROBABLY FROM A BANK OF UPCAST. EARLY BRONZE AGE COPPER ALLOY DAGGER, LENGTH 78MM, WIDTH 31MM, THICKNESS 5MM. 2 INCOMPLETE RIVET HOLES AT EITHER SIDE OF BUTT. FAIRLY CORRODED, TIP MISSING. GIVEN TO BCM (B1).
