WATCHING BRIEF DURING SERVICE TRENCHING AT SWANBOURNE CHURCH PRODUCED A VERY SMALL FRAGMENT OF EIFEL LAVA QUERNSTONE. UNDATED, BUT LIKELY TO BE SAXON? FROM A TEST PIT EAST OF CHANCEL (B8).
