THE NORTH BOUNDARY OF THIS FIELD MAY BE AN ANGLO - SAXON FIELD BOUNDARY MENTIONED IN A CHARTER 0F 966. NO OBVIOUSLY ANCIENT PHYSICAL REMAINS. GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY REVEALS SLIGHTLY ENHANCED SUSCEPTIBILITY READINGS (B1-2).
