Description

11 TEST PITS DUG DURING EVALUATION. NO ARCHAEOLOGICAL FEATURES FOUND, BUT 3 FLINT FLAKES AND 2 FLINT ARTEFACTS WERE RECOVERED FROM DISTURBED CONTEXTS. THIS WAS CONSIDERED SIGNIFICANT IN CONFIRMING PREHISTORIC ACTIVITY IN AN AREA WHERE THERE HAD BEEN FEW PREVIOUS FINDS (B1).
