Description

WITHIN STONE-LINED WELL EXCAVATED BY MR DICKENS WAS FOUND 50-60 'OLD BITS OF CROCK', INCLUDING GLAZED, LIGHT FAUN AND REDDY-BROWN WARES, OF PROBABLE C18-19 DATE; GLASS FRAGMENTS, OF GOLDEN COLOUR DUE TO DECAY; AND OYSTER SHELL. SEE CASS 01:000. (B2).
