Description

CONTINUING FIELDWORK BY TOM CLARK UNCOVERS 2 BRONZE CELTIC COINS, NOT FURTHER IDENTIFIED. FURTHER FIELDWORK BY TOM CLARK UNCOVERS 1 BELGIC RIM; 1 RB FLAGON BASE; 1 RB RIM OF SHELLY FABRIC; AND 1 SAMIAN BASE WITH ?NONSENSE STAMP. SEE CAS. FURTHER FIELDWORK BY TOM CLARK UNCOVERS FOOT OF RB BOW BROOCH; 1 CHEESE- SHAPED BRONZE ?RB WEIGHT; MISCELLANEOUS UNDATED BRONZE ITEMS AND CASTING WASTE; 2 UNDATED LEAD WEIGHTS; 1 FOOT OF C5 BRONZE CRUCIFORM BROOCH IN FORM OF ANIMAL SNOUT & SECOND BROOCH FOOT, SNAPPED & MINUS ANIMAL TERMINAL . Strong possibility that these latter two finds represent a disturbed Anglo-Saxon grave (B4).
