DISC OF LEAD APPROX 5.5CM IN DIAMETER WITH COAT OF ARMS STAMPED ON ONE SIDE. REVERSE UNDECORATED. ROYAL ARMS DEPICTED WITH LEOPARDS OF ENGLAND QUARTER-ED WITH FLEUR-DE-LYS OF FRANCE, SURROUNDED BY THE SS COLLAR OF HOUSE OF LANCAST-ER. DATE C.1405. SIMILAR PIECES INTERPRETED AS BOX LIDS (B1).
