ARCHAEOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF AREA OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT SHOWED PART OF SITE DISTURBED BY CAR PARK & ROAD WIDENING. TRACES OF BUILDINGS FRONTING STREET, A WELL & PRIVY SURVIVED. MED/POST-MED PITS & DITCHES PRESENT. NO TRACE OF MEDIEVAL HOSPITAL (CAS 0376) FOUND EXCEPT POSSIBLE DITCH (SEE REPORT)(B1).
