Description

Grade II. House. Late C17-early C18. Knapped flint with narrow brick dressings plain tile roof. Brick chimneys to left and rear, each with 3 diagonal shafts, the left with outer shafts rebuilt. L-plan. 2 storeys, cellar and attic; 5 bays. Off-set plinth, dentil eaves. 1985 4-light wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars, those to ground floor with bonded segmental heads of narrow brick. Openings in right bay are blind and plastered. Centre bay has altered first floor window with tall 2-light casement. 2 cellar openings to left. Central 6-panelled door with missing hood. Rear wing has 2 gables. RCHM I p. 187-8 Mon. 16 (B1).
