Description

Grade II. House. Late C17 - early C18, altered and extended. Timber frame with diagonal braces and brick infill; ground floor of left bay rebuilt in flint with brick dressings. Old tile roof, large rebuilt external brick chimney to right. One storey and attic, 2 bays. C20 paired barred wooden casements of varying sizes, those to attic in gabled eaves-line dormers. C20 door in gabled brick porch to centre. C20 metal casements in gable end to road. C20 lean-to and other extensions to rear. RCHM I p. 158. Mon. 2 (B1).
