Description
Grade II. Graded partly for group value. C18 terrace block. Red and grey brick, old tiled roof. 3 storeys. Each house has 3 sashes in reveals, glazing bars to Nos 3 and 5, 1st floor cast iron balconettes to No 1. Bracketed wooden cornice to Nos 1 and 3, dentil brick cornice to No 5. No 3 has 6 panel door. Similar door to No 1 now removed, but doorway retains fluted pilasters, horizontally reeded cut brackets and flat hood. Door to No 5 has architrave surround with pulvinated frieze, cornice, pediment. Doorway to No 5, up flight of steps, has arched rusticated stucco surround, with impost mouldings and keystone, enclosing fanlight and 3 panel door. Windows to No 5 have voussoir heads, formerly with early C19 sunblind cases. Trinity Congregational Church and Nos 1 to 17 (odd) form a group (B1).
