Description
Grade II. 3, formerly 4, C17 cottages. Colour washed brick ground floor, timber framed 1st floor with colour washed brick nogging, old tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics, 4 casements with wood mullions. 1st floor windows 3 light, ground floor windows 2 light except for right hand 3 light window with cambered relieving arch. All windows flush set with glazing bars. Bracketed doorhoods. Left hand gabled dormer. RCHM, p 319. Nos 35 to 37 (consec), The Church Loft, Nos 45 to 54 (consec), Nos 56 to 59 (consec) Steps House, The Plough Inn, The Apple Orchard, The Old Smithy, West Wycombe Estate Office, Rose Cottage and Ness Cottage form a group (B1).
