Grade II. Later C18, somewhat altered. Flint rubble with red brick, hipped old tiled roof. 2 storeys, and attics, originally distinguished 7 bay front with alternately arched slightly projecting ground floor bays, now altered by late C19 shops and ground floor C19 windows. Sash windows to 1st floor have glazing bars and are in reveals under flat arches. Raised flint rustication to arches and window surround of ground floor. 2 box dormers and 1 pedimented. Has many similarities to the park buildings of West Wycombe House and may be by the same architect (B1).
Possibly originally built as a Dower House for West Wycombe Park (B2).
The Post Office transferred here from High Street in 1901, and closed in 1934 (B3).
Plans, elevation drawings and photographs of wing to rear (formerly a repeater station) submitted in support of a planning application (B4).
