Description

GRADE II.C18 PAIR OF COTTAGES.FLINT RUBBLE WITH RED BRICK DRESSINGS & QUOINS,OLD TILED ROOF.2 STOREYS,2 CASEMENTS FLUSH SET WITH GLAZING BARS.BRACKET-ED DOORHOOD ON LEFT.1ST FLOOR BAND. NOS 27 TO 30 (CONSEC) NOS 32 & 33 FORM A GROUP (B1).
Two-storey building with gabled , tile-covered roof and the walls are all constructed from relatively consistent flint and brick dressing. The ground floor openings are beneath segmental arches while those at the first floor are square headed just beneath the eaves. There is a single storey lean-to at the southern end of the range also largely constructed of flint with brick dressing and a two storey brick-built stair projection at the angle with No.26 (B2).
