Description

Grade II. C18 pair of cottages. Flint rubble plinth red and grey brickwork, right hand cottage formerly roughtcast, old tiled hipped roof. 2 storeys, first floor left hand dummy window and 3 lush 2 light casements with glazing bars. Cut bracketed doorhead to No 40A. Single storey modern west wing to No 40A; slightly recessed 2 storey modern 1 casement wing to No 39. No 39A, Fern Cottage, No 39, 40A, 40, 41, 41A, 42, 42A, 43, 44 and Christadelphian Chapel form a group (B1).
