Description

Grade II. Mid C19. Flint rubble, low pitched Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, pilasters, 4 sashes, mostly with glazing bars. Slightly lower north wing with 2 sashes (B1).
Shown as the Prince of Wales public house on the 1874 50-inch county town OS map (B2).
In 1872 'The Prince of Wales' was recorded as first licenced in 1855. The licencee was Samuel Damant and the owners were Messrs Wheeler and Co of wycombe [the Wycombe Brewery](B3).
