GRADE II. PARK ON WHICH LANCELOT BROWN MAY HAVE ADVISED, FORMING THE SETTING OF A COUNTRY HOUSE. W PART OF VILLAGE WAS CLEARED IN MID C19 TO ENLARGE GROUNDS. NOTHING REMAINS OF THE FLOWER GARDEN WHICH LAY W OF HOUSE. TRACES OF EARLIER GARDENS INCLUDE A TIERED FOUNTAIN. LAKES FORMED IN 1750S [FURTHER DETAIL](B8).
