Description

HOARD OF 30 COINS, ALL C4 AD & 28 OF WHICH WERE C4 IMITATIONS. FOUND BY MR R PIERCY. NO INDICATION THAT COINS HAD BEEN IN A CONTAINER. MOST WERE 25-3OCM DEEP, AMONG TREE ROOTS; 2 WERE FOUND 5-10M AWAY. REPORT FROM ASHMOLEAN MUSEUM FILED (B1).
